On the 1861 census Francis was a Butcher’s assistant in Birmingham. On the 1881 census Francis was a Farmer in Feckenham. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Francis was a Butcher in Evesham Street. In the 1872 Post Office Directory Francis was a Butcher in Evesham Street. In the 1884 Kelly’s Directory Francis was a Farmer Elcock’s Brook,Feckenham.

Notes: Wife Ann (53) plus 1 son at home. On the 1851 and 1861 census they lived in Evesham Street but no numbers stated on the early census. On later census they lived in Mount Pleasant and William was still a Needle Manufacturer. In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory and Gazetteer, William was a Needle Manufacturer in Evesham Street. By the 1888 Kelly’s Directory William was classed as Needle, Fish Hook & Tackle Manufacturers, Mount Pleasant. William died 8th April 1904 and was living in Mount Pleasant.
