Notes: Wife Theodosia (30) plus 5 children at home. On the 1851 census they lived in Evesham street but no numbers stated on early census. In the 1841 Pigot’s directory James was under Miscellaneous as a Cooper in Evesham Street.

Notes: Possibly wife Elizabeth (45) and a working daughter + 1 visitor at home but no relationship mentioned on the 1841 census. . In the 1840 Bentley’s Directory he was classed as being an Engraver & Printer (and Letter Press) at Plymouth Buildings also in the Directory Elizabeth was classed as Straw Hat maker, Plymouth Buildings. In the 1841 Pigot’s Directory Elizabeth was mentioned under Milliners and Dress and Straw Hat Makers. On the 1851 census they lived in Windsor Street, Redditch. In the 1855 Billing’s Directory and Gazetteer Hamilton was classed as Engraver and Printer, Chapel Green West, Redditch and Elizabeth was Milliner and Straw Bonnet Maker, Alcester Street, Redditch. In the 1860 Post Office Directory Hamilton was a Printer in Alcester Street. Then in the 1870 & 1872 Kelly’s Directory Hamilton was a Printer, Church Green, Redditch. Hamilton died in 1884.
