Notes: The census said wife Emma (18) but she was actually his daughter who was a Needle Sticker plus 4 other children at home. On the 1871 census William was married to Fanny (Briggs) who died in 1875 and they lived in Bates Hill and William was a Butcher and a Publican. On the 1841 and 1851 census he lived with his parents Henry and Catherine in Evesham Street and Henry was a Hairdresser but no numbers stated on early census. In the 1872 Post Office Directory William was classed as Butcher in Bates Hill, Redditch. He died 10th December 1882 in Evesham Street, Redditch.
