Notes: Wife Elizabeth (44) plus 3 children + 1 servant + 3 boarders at home. (On the 1911 census the enumerator stopped at this house before going on to 60 George Street) (On the 1911 census they had stated that they had had 3 children born alive) In the 1914 Bennett’s Directory Mrs Ludford was the proprietress of the “Temperance Hotel”. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory it had an entry for Redditch & District Provident Sick Soceity (Thomas Townsend, secretary) Temperance Hotel. Thomas Cooper Ludford died in 1934

Lived at 3 Red Lion Street on the 1881 census and 38 Evesham Street on the 1891 census but no numbers stated on the 1871 census but next door to James Duggins who was at 77 Evesham Street and at 77a Evesham Street in the littlebury’s Directory.
