Notes: Sarah had 2 sons Richard & John, Grocers + 1 younger son + 2 servants at home. On the 1871 census she was living with her husband John at 31 Evesham Street. Her son John was the Grocer living at this address on the 1891 census. In the 1884 Kelly’s Directory she is classed as London, Sarah (Mrs) & Sons, Grocers, 31 Evesham Street. Sarah died 2nd June 1899 and lived in Park Road but died at her daughter Elizabeth Hollington nee London’s house, 21 Evesham Street.

On the 1881 census John lived with his mother Sarah, widow and his siblings at 31 Evesham Street. In the 1888 and 1892 Kelly’s Directory John London grocer of 31 Evesham Street. On the 1901 census they were living in Queen Street and John was a worker assisting a Grocer. Then by the 1911 census John was a widower and with son Leslie lived in Handsworth, Birmingham and John now was a Tramways Supervisor.
