Notes: Wife Susan (36) plus 5 children at home. On the 1911 census William and his wife and familly lived at 61 Glover Street, Redditch and William was a Boot Dealer. In the 1904, Kelly’s Directory William was at 15 Evesham Street and then in 1908, 1912, 1916 Kelly’s Directory he was at 39 Evesham Street. In the 1921 & 1924 Kelly’s Directory of Worcestershire it stated that William lived at 18 Easemore Road, Redditch. 1924 Kelly’s Directory William Humphries & Sons was at 39 Evesham Street and then in 1940 Kelly’s Directory they were at 40 Evesham Street.

(On the 1891 census the enumerator started at this house after Mount Pleasant) In the 1888 & 1892 Kelly’s Directory, Sarah is classed as Shoemaker at 151 Evesham Street. At the time of Sarah’s death 28th August 1894 she was still living at 151 Evesham. On the 1881 census she was with her husband John at 151 Evesham Street.

Notes: Amelia had her sister Bertha (36) also Boot Shop Keeper & Dressmaker at home. On the 1911 census Amelia and Bertha lived in Mount Pleasant, Redditch and they were both Dressmakers. On the 1881 census Amelia and Bertha lived with their parents John and Sarah at 151 Evesham Street. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory Bertha & Amelia Ford (Misses) Shoe Dealers & Dressmakers, 151 Evesham Street. Amelia Ford died in 1944 and her sister Bertha in 1947
