(On the 1901 census the enumerator stopped at this house in Evesham Street and it was classed as End of Central Ward) On the 1911 census they lived in Monmouthshire. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory there was an entry for Druids U.O. Redditch, Equalized District:-Hope to Prosper Lodge, No. 1259, Plough & Harrow Hotel, Loyal Hearts of Oak Lodge, No, 1709, Vine Inn; Royal Arch Chapter, Plough & Harrow Hotel (W. H. Gregory, secretary of the 3 lodges)

Notes: Wife Clara (Vale) (41) & daughter Clara assisted in business. They had 2 school children as well at home. Thomas was the licensee 1906-1921. The Plough & Harrow was at 155 Evesham Street. (On the 1911 census they had stated that they had had 3 children born alive) On the 1901 census but was next door at 153 in 1914 and in 1924 in Kelly’s Directory but was at 173 in 1940 according to Kelly’s directory. On the 1901 census they lived in Evesham Road, Redditch and Thomas was a Needle Tool Maker. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory Thomas Henry was at the Plough and Harrow, 153 Evesham Street.
