Notes: Wife Bessie (Gardiner) (31) + 3 children plus 2 borders who are Cycle Workers lived there. (On the 1911 census they had stated that they had had 3 children born alive) On the 1901 census Walter lived with his parents Frederick and Marian in Prospect Road. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory it stated that a Walter Read was Horsebreaker in Market Place and a Fred Read was a Horsebreaker at 147 Evesham Street. In 1924 Kelly’s Directory Bessie was Shopkeeper at 145 Evesham Street.
