(On the 1881 census the enumerator started at this house in Evesham Street after 1 Izods Yard and then the enumerator went on to 7 & 5 Izods Yard that were uninhabited then on to 141 Evesham Street) On the 1871 census they lived in Pound Yard, Redditch.

(On the 1891 census the enumerator started at this house in Evesham Street after 1 Izods Yard) On the 1881 census they lived in Walford Street, Redditch and Thomas was a Tailor. On the 1901 census they lived at the same address. In the 1888 & 1892 Kelly’s Directory Thomas is classed as Shopkeeper at 143 Evesham Street. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory Thomas was classed as Tailor at 143 Evesham Street.

Notes: Wife Sarah Ann (Phillips) (50) plus 4 working children (including David (19) Tailor (who lived at this house on the 1911 census) + 2 younger children at home. (On the 1901 census the enumerator stopped at this house in Evesham Street before going on to 1 Izods Yard) In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory their son David was the Tailor at 143 Evesham Street. Thomas died 21st February 1908 at 143 Evesham Street.

(On the 1911 census they had stated that they had had 1 child born alive) (On the 1911 census the enumerator started at this house in Evesham Street after 1 Izods Yard) On the 1901 census David lived with his father Thomas and step mother Sarah Ann at the same address and David and his father Thomas were both Tailors.

In the 1884 Kelly’s Directory William is classed as a Shopkeeper at 145 Evesham Street. William died in 1885.
