(On the 1881 census this house “Onega House”, was next door to 43 Alcester Street and the enumerator stopped at this house before going on to 151 Ipsley Street) On the 1871 census Thomas seems to be married to Sarah and they lived in Edward Street, Redditch. On the 1891 census they lived in Ipsley Street, Redditch. Married Sarah Jane Smith in 1868 but she seemed to be known as Jane. In the 1888 & 1892 Kelly’s Directory Thomas was a Builder in Ipsley Street, Redditch. Thomas died in 1909.

Notes: Elizabeth had her Mother Elizabeth Perry + 1 boarder at home. No number stated on census. (On the 1891 census the enumerator stopped at this house in Alcester Street before going on to St Georges Road) On the 1901 census Elizabeth was a visitor in Chiswick, Middlesex. On the 1881 census Elizabeth and her mother lived in Beoley Road, Redditch. On the 1871 census Elizabeth lived with her husband Jonas a Draper in Evesham Street. In the 1861 Slater’s Directory of Worcestershire Elizabeth was classed under Milliners, Evesham Street. Elizabeth Strain died in 1919.
