In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory a John Lees was a Confectioner at 17 Market Place. Francis John Lees died in 1956

On the 1881 census they lived in Church Green South which was Market Place on later census. On the 1891 census Ann Wellsbourne was a widow and lived in Church Green South which became Market Place on the later census and she had her son John Robert. John’s son John Robert Wellsbourne was also a Butcher 13 Market Place on the 1901 census.

In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory it had John Welsbourne, Butcher, 18 Market Place.
