Notes: In the 1928 Kelly’s Directory Harry was a Greengrocer at the same address. On the 1911 census Harry lived with his parents Samuel and Susan in St George’s Road, Redditch. Harry joined the Royal Garrison Artillery in 1915 and at that time was living St. George’s Road, Redditch and was a Crochet Maker. Harry Gordon Bayliss died in 1970.

Notes: On the 1911 census Alfred lived with his parents Frank and Rose at “The Limes”, Hewell Road and Frank was a Butcher and Alfred was a Farm Labourer. Possibly his brother Ernest was at 42 Alcester Street in 1924 Kelly’s Directory. In 1915 Alfred joined the Worcesters Regt. and at the time was living at Bridley Moor Farm and was a Dairyman and Farm hand. In the Midland Counties Trade Directory for 1948/49 an A. Shakles was classed under Fruiterers & Florist at 35 Alcester Street.

In the 1872 Kelly’s Directory of Worcestershire, Henry is classed as Farmer, Elcotts Brook, Callow Hill, Redditch. In the 1876 Kelly’s Directory he is Farmer Elcock’s Brook. In the 1884 & 1888 Kelly’s Directory Henry was classed as Greengrocer, 17 Alcester Street.
