Notes: Wife Jane (Preston) (37) plus 4 children + 1 niece + 1 prisoner. (On the 1891 census the enumerator started at the Police Station in Evesham Street after a1 Park Road and 64 Evesham Street was the next house) The police station in Evesham Street was built in 1864; the petty sessions and county courts were held there. On the 1881 census William was the Police Constable in the Police Buildings Dudley. William Cope died in 1919

(On the 1891 census the enumerator stopped at this house in Evesham Street before going on to 1 New Street) Lived at 25 Alcester Street the “Nags Head” on the 1901 census.

In the 1896 Kelly’s Directory of Worcestershire Charles was a member of the Urban District Council and they met 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm.

On the 1871 census Albert was living with his mother Emma at the “Fountain Inn”, 75 Evesham Street.
