Notes: Wife Edith (Taylor) (25) + 1 servant at home. On the 1861 census they lived at the Lamb & Flag, Unicorn Hill and Uriah was the Beerhouse Keeper and Butcher and they seemed to be next door to Samuel Allcock and his wife and family plus Samuel’s father Polycarp Allcock, well known Fish Hook Manufacturers of Redditch. In the 1860 Post Office Directory Uriah was Butcher in Unicorn Hill. On the 1841 census Uriah was a Male Servant for Matilda Allbutt a Butcher in Chapel Green East. Uriah died 10th September 1873 still an Innkeeper in Redditch.

Notes: Wife Theodosia (42) + 3 working children + 2 schoolchildren at home. On the 1841 census they lived in Evesham Street but no numbers stated on census. In the 1855 Billing’s Directory and Gazetteer James is a Cooper in Chapel Green West, Redditch. In the 1860 Post Office Directory James was a Cooper in Church Green, Redditch. James died in 1889.
