Notes: Had 1 servant at home. On the 1901 census lived at the same address. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory it’s still classed as Henry Oakley, Greengrocer and Fruiterer at 17 Alcester Street. Henry was her father who died in 1897. Emily married in 1911 to Frank Frederick Bawcutt. Emily Oakley died 1951.

Notes: Wife Elizabeth (Bluck) (70) + 2 nephews at home. On the 1871 I have put them at 19 Alcester street as this is where they seemed to be along the street but no numbers stated on these census. On the 1841 & 1851 census Thomas is married to Elizabeth and they lived in Beoley Street. (On later census Beoley Street became Alcester Street) In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Thomas was classed as Market gardener, Alcester Street.

Notes: Had son George (47) who lived at 19 Alcester Street on the 1881 census (and this is where they seem to be along the street) + daughter-in-law + grandson at home. On the 1851 census he lived with his wife Elizabeth in Beoley Street, Redditch. (On later census Beoley Street became Alcester Street) In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Thomas was Gardener and Seedsman, Alcester Street. In the 1872 Post Office Directory Thomas was still gardener and seedsman, Alcester Street. Thomas died 9th August 1875.
