On the 1891 census Alfred was staying with his father Arthur in Halifax. In the 1904, 1908 & 1912 Kelly’s Directories Alfred is classed as Hairdresser, 14 Alcester Street. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory Alfred was classed as Hairdresser, 14 Alcester Street. In the 1916 Kelly’s Directory Alfred was now at 9 Alcester Street and still a Hairdresser. Alfred died in 1942.
