Notes: Wife Emily J. (56) plus sons William A. C. (25) assistant to his Father and Arthur 23 + 1 visitor. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory classed as William Moule Limited, Chemists, 28 Evesham Street. On the 1911 census their son William Amphlet Coram Moule lived at this address. In the 1896 Needlemakers Almanack they had an advertisement William Moule Dispensing and Family chemist, 28 Evesham Street. Established in 1863, Lemonade, Seltzer, Soda Water and Potash Water. William died 27th March 1908 and living 28 Evesham Street.

Notes: Wife Sarah (Andrews) (30) Fishing Line maker plus 1 working child + 2 younger children + Sarah Andrews (70) Independent + 2 needle makers at home – They seem to be at this number along the Street but no numbers stated on this census. In the 1841 Pigot’s Directory John was classed as Retailer of Beer in Evesham Street.

Notes: Wife Sarah (42) plus 2 working sons + 1 servant at home. In 1855 Billing’s Directory the premises seems to be the “Needle Pointer’s Arms” (Pointer’s Arms) and the licensee John Bryan (by 1860 George Mustin had taken it over and renamed it “The Royal George” and John Bryan was the Licensee 1850-1855 – information from “Old Redditch Pubs by Alan Foxall) John was also classed as Hairdresser. On the 1861 census John is a Hairdresser living in Walford Street, Redditch.

Notes: Wife Emma (Mogg) (35) plus 6 children + 1 servant at home. (The pub was named after the Warship “The Royal George” which sank at Portsmouth in 1782. There was a picture of the Ship in the window which resulted in the locals referring to the pub as “The Ship”. George Mustin was the licensee 1860-1868 – information from “Old Redditch Pubs” by Alan Foxall) On the 1851 census they lived in Albert Street and George was a Needle Pointer. George died in 1870 and was classed as Victualler and Needle Pointer. Emma was the licensee of the Fountain Inn, 75 Evesham Street, 1871-1872. In the 1855 Post Office Directory of Birmingham George was classed as Beer Retailer in Redditch. In the 1862 Slater’s Royal National Commercial Worcestershire George was classed as being in Evesham Street. In the 1865 Jones’s Mercantile Directory of the Iron District, George was Beer Retailer, Evesham Street. George died 8th September 1870.
