Notes: In the 1924 Kelly’s Directory he was at 11 Evesham Street. George was married to Harriet nee Palmer (Harriet Ann Gibbs Brough nee Palmer on the 1911 census lived at “The Leys”, Worcester Road and their son William Ernest Brough 22 was classed as Outfitter and there were 2 daughters also living with her at this time) In the Midland Counties Trade Directory 1948/49 G. F. Brough was under Tailors and outfitters, 13 Evesham Street. George died 12th March 1909 and was living “The Leys”, Worcester Road, Reddtich.

On the 1851 census William was Lodging in Evesham Street with Mary Heath but no numbers stated on this census. William died in 1871.

Notes: Sarah had 3 working children at home – at this address on 1881 census but no numbers stated on 1871 but seems to be at this number along the Street. On the 1861 census she lived with her husband William in Evesham Street but no numbers stated on these census. In the 1870, 1872 & 1876 Kelly’s Directory she was classed as Shopkeeper in Evesham Street.

Notes: Sarah had son 19 Telegraph Clerk + 1 boarder at home. On the 1891 census she was living in Oswald Street, Redditch and was now a Retired Earthenware Dealer. By 1911 census she had moved to Unicorn Hill, Redditch and lived on own means. In the 1880 Kelly’s Directory she was classed as Earthenware Dealer, 131 Evesham Street. By the 1884, 1888, 1892 & 1896 Kelly’s Directories Sarah was a China Dealer, 3 Unicorn Hill. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory Edward humphries, Butcher was at this address. Sarah died in 1907

In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory Maria was classed as Shopkeeper, 131 Evesham Street. Maria Court died in 1917

(On the 1911 census they stated that they had had 5 children born alive but 2 had died) On the 1901 census they lived in William Street, Redditch and had Fred’s father Benjamin staying with them also a Tailor and on the 1911 census Fred’s father Benjamin lived at 4 Silver Street. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory Fred was classed as Tailor 131 Evesham Street.
