(On the 1911 census they had stated that they hadn’t had any children born alive) (On the 1911 census the enumerator started at this house in Evesham Street after 1 ludlow Road) On the 1901 census they lived in Mount Pleasant and William was classed as a Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturer. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory William was living in Mount Pleasant. In the 1892 Kelly’s Directory William lived 25 Worcester Road, Redditch. In the 1896 Kelly’s Directory William was classed as Managing Director, W. M. James & Co. Lim., Prospect Hill but lived 25 Worcester Road. In the 1904 Kelly’s Directory William was classed as Needle Maker Mount Pleasant. In the 1908 & 1912 & 1916 Kelly’s Directories William was a Needle Maker in Evesham Street. In the 1921 & 1924 Kelly’s Directory William was at Express Works, Evesham Street but no number stated and classed as Needle, Fish Hook 7 Fishing Tackle Manufactuerer.
