Notes: Wife Emma Browning (44) classed as wife but no husband at home and she had 1 daughter + 1 Servant at home. On the 1861 census Emma was married to Edward Browning and they lived Prospect Hill, Redditch. In the 1842 Bentley’s Directory of Worcestershire Edward was classed as Solicitor, Agent and Clerk to the Magistrates. In the 1855 Directory and Gazetteer of the county of Worcestershire Edward was classed Solicitory, Clerk to County Magistrates and Clerk of County Court; agent to the European Life and Equity and Law Life Offices, Fish Hill. Edward died 2nd September 1872 and was living in Ipsley. Emma died in 1889

In the 1850 Slater’s Directory James was classed under Fish Hook Manufacturers, Eagle Mill, Chapel Green. His brother Joseph was a Needle Manufacturer, Eagle Mill, Chapel Green. In the 1855 Directory and Gazetteer James was Needle and Fish Hook Manufacturer, Chapel Green.In the 1860 Cassey’s Directory of Worcestershire James was Fish Hook Manufacturer. James died 15th August 1861
