(Samuel Millward was the licensee of the “Shakespeare Tavern”, 1860-1884 at 34 Walford Street on later census) On the 1851 census Samuel was married to Susan and they lived in Walford Street but no numbers stated on the early census. In the 1861 Slater’s Directory of Worcestershire Samuel was classed as Beer Retailer, Walford Street. In the 1872 & 1876 Kelly’s Directory either this Samuel or his son Samuel was Beer Retailer in Walford Street. Samuel died in 1875.

Fanny died in 1875 and then William on the 1881 census was married to Emma and they lived 8 Evesham Street. William died 10th December 1882.
