Possibly this was the Beehive Inn as a John William Parkinson was the licensee there 1891-1904 but the enumerator had this down as Red Lion Street but fairly sure this should have been Alcester Street. In the 1892 & 1900 Kelly’s Directory it stated John William Parkinson was Beer Retailer, 6 Alcester Street. John died 4th July 1904 and he was living in Alcester Street.
