On the 1911 census they lived 29 Worcester Road, Redditch and Franics was classed as Joiner and they had son Frank Joseph Baylis classed as Pensioner staying with them. On the 1891 census they lived in Handsworth. Clement died 5th February 1895 in Handsworth and was still a Tin Plate Worker.

On the 1901 census Ann lived with her son Walter and his wife Mary in Balsal Heath. Ann Eliza Smallwood died in 1916.
