Notes: Wife Hannah (42) plus 4 children (including their son John who lived at 54 Evesham Street on the 1891 census) at home. No number stated on the census but called “Gilbey & Co., Spirit Store”. Seemed to be at this address along the Street but no numbers stated on census. Lived in Evesham Street on the 1861 census but no numbers stated on that census. In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory and Gazetteer he was classed as agent for W. & A. Gilbey’s Wine & Spirits, basket and fancy dealer, 46 & 48 Evesham Street.

Notes: Wife Hannah (52) plus 5 children + 1 servant at home. On the 1861 census they lived in Evesham Street and on the 1871 census they had Gilly & Co., Spirit Store in Evesham Street but no numbers stated on these census. On the 1891 census they lived at 54 Evesham Street. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory, John is classed as agent for W. & A. Gilbey, Wine & Spirits Merchants, 46 Evesham Street. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory it stated that John Dutton Munslow, agent for W. & A. Gilbey Limited, wine and spirit merchants, Post office, 46 Evesham Street.

Notes: Thomas had son John (28) Needle Maker + daughter-in-law Ellen at home. Seems to be at this number along the Street. On the 1861 census he lived with his wife Susanna (Avery) and family in Mount Pleasant and Thomas was a Needle Manufacturer. In the 1865 Jones’s Mercantile Directory of the Iron District of South Staffordshire and East Worcestershire it stated that it was Thomas Shrimpton and Son, Fancy Needle Makers, Balmoral Works, Evesham Street. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory the entry stated Thomas Shrimpton & Son, Needle Manufacturers, Evesham Street. In the 1892 Kelly’s Directory Thomas Shrimpton & Son, Needle Manufacturers, 47 Evesham Street. Thomas died in 1880. On the 1881 census his son John and his wife Ellen were living at 47 Evesham Street.

Notes: Wife Ellen (Canadine) (37) plus 4 children at home. On the 1871 census he was living with his father Thomas Shrimpton a Needle Manufacturer in Evesham Street but no numbers stated on this census. In the 1884 & 1888 Kelly’s Directory John was classed as a Toy Maker at 47 Evesham Street. Plus an entry for Thomas Shrimpton & Son Needle Manufacturer.

Notes: Wife Ellen (47) plus 2 working sons + 4 younger sons at home. On the 1901 census John was now a widower and classed as a retired Needlemaker and was living in Aston with several of his children. In the 1892 Kelly’s Directory John is classed as Toy Maker, 47 Evesham Street. John died in 1906.

Notes: Wife Betsey Moore (Woodfield) 46 plus 1 son at home. On the 1891 census they lived in Upper Grove Street, Redditch and William was a Manufacturers Clerk. On the 1911 census they lived at the same address. In the 1896 & 1900 Kelly’s Directories William was classed under Tobacconists, 47 Evesham Street. William Thomas Clarke died in 1915.

In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory he was now a Photographer, 47 Evesham Street.
