On the 1861 census they lived in Prospect Hill, Redditch. In the 1835 Pigot’s Directory of Worcestershire, Richard was classed under Grocers, Drapers and Dealers in Sundries Richard Allbutt, Redditch. In the 1855 Directory and Gazetteer, Richard was Grocer and Provision Dealer, Fish Hill.
