In the 1872 Post Office Directory William was Under Baliff to the County Court & Town Crier, Prospect Hill, In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory & gazetter William was a Bill Poster. In the 1884 & 1888 Kelly’s Directory William was Town Crier, Church green West.
