Notes:         Wife Theresa (29) Club Stewardess plus 3 children + sister-in-law at home. No number stated for the Liberal Club but seems to be at 45 Alcester Street on the 1911 census so have put it at the same number on this census. On the 1891 census John was a soldier at the Barracks in Warwick and was married to Theresa. On the 1911 census they lived in Birmingham and John was classed as Army Pensioner. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory there was an entry for Redditch and District Liberal Club, (John Cown, House Steward, Frederick Howard Warner, hon. secretary) Alcester Street.
