Notes:         Wife Anna Louisa (Richards) (40) plus 4 children at home. On the later census they lived at 37 Alcester Street. On the 1851 census they lived in Beoley Street, Redditch. (On later census Beoley Street became Alcester Street so could have been at the same address) In the 1855 Directory and Gazetteer of Worcestershire there was a Charles Allen Brown who was a Painter, Shopkeeper and Beer Retailer in Alcester Street.
