Notes:         Wife Ann Gertrude (65) + 2 grandchildren at home. On the 1871 census they lived at the same address. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory it stated Benjamin was a shopkeeper in Red Lion Street. In the 1872 Post Office Directory Benjamin was a shopkeeper, Red Lion Street. In the 1884 Kelly’s Directory Benjamin was classed as Shopkeeper in Red Lion Street. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory Benjamin was still a shopkeeper at 25 Red Lion Street.
