On the 1881 census Hezekiah was a Grocer and living in Ipsley Street, Redditch and though classed as Head of the house he had his parents Benjamin and Hannah living with him. In the 1896 Kelly’s Directory Hezekiah was classed as Furniture Broker, 22 Alcester Street. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory Hezekiah lived at 41 Alcester Street and was a Fried Fish Dealer.
