Notes: Wife Emma (Mustin) (50) + step-daughter + grandson + servant at home. Jesse was the licensee of the “Fountain Inn” 1873-1900. On the 1861 & 1871 census Jesse lived with his mother Emma Whele in Alcester Street but no numbers stated on that census. In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory & Gazetteer Jesse was at the “Fountain”, 75 Evesham Street and he had another entry under Conveyances, Globe Parcels Express Office, Alcester Street, Mr. Jesse Whele, Agent Carriers to Alcester. Jesse married Emma Mustin, widow, who had been the Licensee of the “Fountain Inn” before him. Emma had been married to George Mustin who on the 1861 census was the Licensee of the “Royal George”, 29 Evesham Street.
