Occupant: Edwin Arthur Pinfield Wells aged: 34 Born: Redditch
Was At Property: 115 & 117 Evesham Street ln year: 1891
Trade: Beerhouse Keeper & Needle Finisher – worker
Notes: Wife Eliza (Unitt) (34) plus 8 children at home. Edwin was the licensee of the “Old Briton” in 1891. On the 1881 census Edwin and Eliza seem to be just Pinfield and not Pinfield Wells and lived in Ipsley. I think that they are the parents of Edwin Pinfield Wells who on the 1911 census lived at 10 Red Lion Street but the census is very confusing as sometimes on the census they are Penfield or Pinfield Wells or Penfield Wells. On the 1901 census Eliza was a widow and was a Beerhouse Keeper at 9 Bates Hill. Edwin died 10th March 1901 and was living at the “Brewers Arms”, Redditch.
