On the 1901 census Jesse lived at 111 St Georges Road, Redditch and he was a Boot Maker and was married to Mary E. Palmer. On the 1911 census they lived at 201 Mount Pleasant, Redditch and Jesse was a Boot and Shoe Maker. In the 1908 Kelly’s Directory of Worcestershire, Jesse was a Boot Maker in St. George’s Road, Redditch.
