On the census the enumerator had put that Alfred Charles also had 15a which was in occupation but not inhabited so possibly his shop. At this address on the 1911 census. On the 1891 census they lived 16 Church Green South, Redditch. This part of Church Green South must become part of Market Place by the 1901 census as their neighbours are all the same. In the 1888 & 1892 Kelly’s Directory Alfred is classed as Hairdresser, 16 Market Place. In the 1900 Kelly’s Directory Alfred is classed as Hairdresser & Agent for Sutton & Co., Carriers, 16 Market Place.
