He and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Garger[?], a widow living on her own means, lived at Holly Grove, Hagley, Worcestershire. In 1911 John was a police pensioner and a miller and a baker at home. He and Martha Elizabeth had been married for 18 years. John Henry was a baker’s assistant at home. They lived at The Flour Mills, Blockley, Worcestershire.
