Notes:         George had 6 children (Grace 20, Fritz 18, Draper’s assistant, Cecil 17, Draper’s assistant, (On the 1901 census Cecil was married to Emma and he was a Draper, Shopkeeper in Glastonbury) Rose 15, Horace 14 (On the 1911 census Horace was married to Ethel and a Draper and Outfitter in Worle, Somerset) and Alice 9. (On the 1891 census the enumerator has put 1 New Street in between 19 Evesham Street and 17 Evesham Street) In the 1876 Kelly’s Directory George was classed under Drapers, New Street. In the 1880 & 1884 Kelly’s Directory George was classed as Linen Draper, New Street. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory George was a Draper in New Street. In the 1892 Kelly’s Directory George Heaphy was at 32A Evesham Street and New Street. In the 1896 kelly’s Directory George is classed as Clothier 2 & 4 New Street. In the 1921 Kelly’s Directory George’s family still had the shop and it was now called George Heaphy & Sons, 2 & 4 New Street. In the 1972 West Midland (Southern) Phone Directory the shop was under Men’s Wear and George Heaphy & Sons, 2 New Street. Sarah died in 1884. George died 28th May 1899 and still lived in New Street.
