On the 1881 census they lived at 12 Alcester Street but no numbers stated on the 1871 census but seem to be at this number along the street. In the Jones’s 1865 Mercantile Directory of the Iron District of South Staffordshire and East Worcestershire, John is classed as John Guest junr., Butcher, Alcester Street. In the 1872 Post Office Directory John was Butcher, Alcester Street.
