IN the 1880 Directory of Worcestershire George was classed as Rev. Geo. Frederick Fessey, M.a. (vicar of Redditch; rural dean of Droitwich deanery), The Vicarage. George died 11th November 1888 in Cheltenham. There is a stained glass window in St. George’s Church, Redditch in his memory and of his sister Rebeccah Fessey and erected by their brother Joseph Fessey.
