Notes:         Wife Mary A. (Thornton) 35 plus 1 son + 1 boarder + 5 lodgers. William was the licensee of the “Plough & Harrow” 1875-1886. His wife was the licensee 1887-1891. The “Plough & Harrow” was at 153 Evesham Street on the 1891 census but on the 1881 census it was classed as in Mount Pleasant and no number stated but have put it in Evesham Street as in the 1884 Post Office Directory, William was classed as being at the “Plough & Harrow” Evesham Street. On the 1871 census they lived in Walford Street, Redditch. In the 1872 Post Office Directory William was classed as Beer Retailer, Walford Street. Died 10th February 1886.
