Notes:         Wife Ruth (Shaw) (28) plus 1 son. (On the 1911 census they stated that they had had 2 children born alive but 1 had died) On the 1911 census “The White Swan was classed as Worcester Road and Evesham Street as it was on the corner of both. Reuben was the licensee of the “White Swan”, 1911-1912. The White Swan was on the corner of Worcester Road. (In the 1911 summary book the “White Swan” seems to be next door to 32 Evesham Street) On the 1901 census the “White Swan” was classed as being in Worcester Road on the census. On the 1901 census Reuben lived with his parents Reuben and Susannah in Parsons Row, Upper Ipsley. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory Reuben was classed as Beer Retailer, 32 Evesham Street. On the 7th June 1916 Reuben joined Army Service Corps (Motor transport) and he was living Ten Acre Tavern, Stirchley, Birmingham and he was Beer House Manager. Reuben Canadine died in 1967
