Notes:         Wife Ann Catherine (44) plus 3 children + 2 servants at home – living here on the 1881 census but no numbers stated on 1871 census. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory there was a Walter & William Brown, Coal Merchants and Malsters, Railway Station. Walter had a brother William so it would have been this Walter and his brother. In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory and Gazetteer it stated Walter and William Brown, Malsters, Corn & Coal Merchants and Bakers, Evesham Street; depot at Railway Station.
