On the 1861 census Benjamin in married to Anne and they lived at Ivy House, Bromsgrove Road and Benjamin was classed as retired Baker and Malsterer. In the 1860 Post Office Directory Walter and William Brown Maltsters and Corn Dealers, Evesham Street and Benjamin Brown (this Benjamin’s son) was Baker and Miller, Alcester Street. Benjamin died 3rd January 1889 in Burcott and he was classed as a Gentleman.
