Next door possibly at 7 lived a James Warrin (42) and his sister Sophronia Warrin (44) and James was a Fish Hook Manufacturer and they were possibly relatives of Joseph (Have found family trees on ancestry site and they have Joseph’s parents as Pascal Paoli Gregory Waring and Elizabeth Watts who married in 1802 at St Bartholomew, Tardebigge and they had James and Sophronia plus several other children on their tree . On the 1851 census Joseph and his family were staying with James Horsefall and his wife and family in Aston. At that time Joseph was classed as Needle Maker. In the 1841 Pigot’s Directory Joseph was classed under Needle and Fish Hook Manufacturers in Chapel Green, Redditch. In the 1842 Bentley’s Directory Joseph was classed as Needle Manufacturer, Redditch. In the 1855 Directory and Gazetteer of the county of Worcester Joseph was Needle Maker, Fish Hill, Redditch. In the 1861 Slater’s Directory of Worcestershire Joseph was Needle Manufacturer, Eagle Mills, Chapel Green. In the 1865 Jones’s Mercantile Directory of the Iron District, Joseph was classed as Fish Hook Manufacturer, Church Green East. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Joseph was Needle Manufacturer, Church Green. In the 1872 Post Office Directory Joseph was classed as Joseph Warrin & Son, Needle Manufacturers, Church Green. In the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory and gazetteer Joseph was classed as Needle and Fish Hook Manufacturer, Eagle Works, Church Green East. In the 1876 Kelly’s Directory Joseph lived at Beech House. In the 1888 Kelly’s Directory there was an entry for Joseph Warrin & Son, Eagle Works, Church Green East.
