(On the 1861 census Beoley Street became Alcester Street) On the 1861 census Richard was now a widower and lived with his son William and his wife Eliza in Church Green East. In the 1835 Pigot’s Directory of Worcestershire Richard was Tin Plate Worker in Redditch. In the 1842 Bentley’s Directory Richard was classed as Ironmonger, Redditch. Richard died 22nd April 1861.
