On the 1861 census they lived in Church Green West and in the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Thomas is classed as Linen Draper, Church Green and his wife Harriet is a Milliner, Church Green. By the 1871 census Thomas seems to be a farmer of 40 acres of Bridley Moor Farm, Redditch and in the 1873 Littlebury’s Directory and Gazetteer Thomas is now Farmer at Bridley Moor, Redditch. Thomas died 12th February 1908 and was living Bridley Moor Farm, Redditch.
