(On the 1861 census Beoley Street became Alcester Street) On the 1861 census they lived at the “White Swan Hotel”, Wootton Wawen and Robert was classed as Dealer in Wines. In the 1849 Post Office Directory of Birmingham Robert was classed as Chemist and Druggist, Redditch. In the 1850 Slater’s Directory Robert was classed under Chemist and Druggist, Alcester Street. Beoley Street seems to be called this on the Census but Alcester Street in the Directories so very confusing.
