By the 1881 census Arthur and Sarah lived “Brunswick House”, Birmingham Road, Redditch and Arthur was a Needle Manufacturer employing 54 men, 30 boys and 70 women and 80 girls. In the 1861 Slater’s Directory of Worcestershire Arthur was classed under Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturers, Beoley Mills. In the 1872 Kelly’s Directory Arthur was Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturer, Station Road, Redditch. In the 1873 Gazetteer and Directory of Worcestershire, Arthur was living at “Brunswick House”. In the 1873 Gazetteer and Directory of Worcestershire Arthur was a Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturer, “Excelsior Works”, Clive Road. In the 1880 & 1888 Kelly’s Directories Arthur was a Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturer, Clive Road. Arthur died 29th February 1888.
