Notes: Wife Sarah (65) plus 1 daughter + 1 Female Servant at home. Next door lived William Gould (30) who might have been their son. (On later census Beoley Street seemed to become Alcester Street) (On the 1841 census the enumerator stopped at this house in Beoley Street before going on to Beoley Lane) On the 1851 census William lived in Beoley Street but no numbers stated on the early census and like this census lived next door to William Gould who might have been their son. In the 1828 Pigot’s Directory of Worcestershire, William was classed under Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturers, Redditch. In the 1835 Pigot’s Directory William was classed as William Gould & Son, Needle & Fish Hook Manufacturers.
