On the 1861 census they lived at the Lamb & Flag, Unicorn Hill and Uriah was the Beerhouse Keeper and Butcher and they seemed to be next door to Samuel Allcock and his wife and family plus Samuel’s father Polycarp Allcock, well known Fish Hook Manufacturers of Redditch. In the 1860 Post Office Directory Uriah was Butcher in Unicorn Hill. On the 1841 census Uriah was a Male Servant for Matilda Allbutt a Butcher in Chapel Green East. Uriah died 10th September 1873 still an Innkeeper in Redditch.
