On the 1911 census they lived at 12 market Place. On the 1881 census John lived with his mother Mary 12 Church Green South, Redditch which would have been the same as 12 Market Place as it seemed to change name on this census. On the 1891 census John’s wife Harriet lived at 12 Market Place and she was classed as married but no husband at home. On the 1871 census John Edwin lived with his parents John and Mary in Alcester Street. In the 1884, 1892 & 1900 Kelly’s Directory John is classed as Boot & Shoemaker, 12 Market Place.
